YIN YOGA CLASSES
Yin yoga is a slow, passive practice in which poses are held for extended periods in order to work deeply into connective tissue such as joints and ligaments. Poses are mainly floor-based, using many different props to help the body ease and release gently without muscle engagement. The slow pace of a Yin practice allows space for readings, music, and slow breathing.
TIBETAN YOGA CLASSES
Tibetan Yoga is a term that encompasses many practices, which have roots in the ancient Tibetan Bon religion and is shrouded in mystery and secrecy. Although only aspects of some of these practices are accessible, it is a beautiful process of movement, breath, visualisation and meditation.
Gentle Flow Vinyasa Classes
Vinyasa yoga is Hatha yoga, but instead of static poses, Vinyasa yoga is a succession of yoga poses, linked with breath, that are practiced in a sequence so that the movements flow into one another. Classes are either designed around a particular physical or energetic outcome or build up to a peak pose. Gentle Flow is accessible to everyone. The sequence is slower and less challenging, creating a more meditative practice
