Workshop 5:
Arm Balances & Inversions
Our last workshop in the series focuses on Arm Balances and Inversions. Contrary to pop-culture, inversions in yoga don’t exclusively consist of Handstands (although we’ll give you some very useful guidance on how to practice these), but so many more options to place your head below your feet, which is the intention of inversions in yoga.
We’ll work through a series of inversions and arm balances from Plough Pose, to Supported Shoulder Stand, Dolphin Pose and Handstands. We’ll also play with many options, props and ways to activate your body to practice a Crow Pose and show you how you can build your strength and alignment in stages.
A fun afternoon to come and explore playfulness in a safe environment under the guidance of two experienced teachers.
